Ken is an ex-Marine whose career has included work
as a journalist, author, corporate communications manager and consultant. He learned photojournalism at Boston University
and on the job and has exhibited artwork and photos for many years. At BU, Ken was privileged to study photography under
the guidance of Eugene Smith. Ken holds a Merchant Marine captain's license, and uses his custom steel trawler,
CAREB, as a mobile platform for waterfront photography.

Huey P. Long, without even taking off his hat. For more on Gov. Long, see the "Baton Rouge" page under "Louisiana."

Ken says he has fewer wrinkles when his face is being squeezed
by a neoprene dive hood. This shot, taken aboard the SWATH ship Nekton Pilot off Exuma in the Bahamas, is courtesy of
Dr. Gedalia Snow Rowe, his better half.
